Terms of Service

Welcome to Visible In SG (“VSG”, “we”, “us”), a talent showcase platform operated by On The Ground (“OTG”), a Singapore-based organisation. By using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1.Acceptance

By accessing, browsing, submitting a profile to, or otherwise using Visible In SG (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.Who May Use

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 or older who are based in or working in Singapore. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and yours to share.

3.Profile Submissions

3.1Your content

When you submit a profile, you retain ownership of the text, images, and other content you provide (“Your Content”). You grant OTG a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, format, and distribute Your Content for the purpose of operating the Service.

3.2Accuracy

You agree that Your Content (including your name, photo, professional history, and links) is accurate, current, and represents you truthfully. Misrepresentation may result in removal of your profile.

3.3Moderation

All submissions are reviewed by a human moderator before going live. We may approve, reject, request edits, flag, or deactivate profiles at our discretion. We are not obligated to publish any submission.

3.4Updates

You may request edits to your profile at any time using the magic-link flow on the Service. Edits may be re-reviewed before going live.

3.5Removal

You may request removal of your profile at any time by emailing admin@visiblein.sg. Removal requests are honoured within seven business days.

4.Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit, upload, or share any content that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory;
  • contains nudity, sexual content, or explicit imagery;
  • infringes any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
  • impersonates another person or misrepresents your affiliation with any individual or entity;
  • contains spam, marketing material unrelated to your professional identity, or scams;
  • contains malware, tracking pixels, or other harmful code;
  • violates any applicable Singapore law or regulation.

5.Visitors and Hirers

5.1No endorsement

VSG is a showcase, not a recommendation engine. Inclusion of a profile does not constitute an endorsement by OTG of any individual’s skills, character, or fitness for any role.

5.2Independent due diligence

Visitors who wish to engage with profiled individuals (e.g. for hiring, freelance work, or consulting) do so at their own risk. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence, reference checks, and contractual arrangements.

5.3No solicitation of bulk data

Visitors must not scrape, crawl, or systematically collect profile data from VSG for the purpose of building competing databases, sending unsolicited messages, or any other unauthorised use.

6.Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, layout, source code, and aggregate compilation, is owned by OTG and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, copy, or republish material from the Service except for your own profile content or as expressly permitted.

7.Disclaimers

7.1As-is

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7.2Uptime

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. We use reasonable efforts to keep the Service available.

7.3Third-party content

We are not responsible for content, websites, or services linked from any profile, including LinkedIn pages and personal websites.

7.4Hiring outcomes

We make no warranty about the quality, fit, or outcome of any engagement that originates from the Service.

8.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OTG and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed S$100.

9.Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not affect any rights and obligations that accrued before termination.

10.Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service and/or by email to profile owners. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes acceptance.

11.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
